Finish 10K race in Austin with average 10:30 pace

My husband Joe is getting ready for a Triathalon.

We have 2 cats, and plan on having little ones one of these days.

I have not run consistently in over 2 years, a 10K race should be a good way to kick-start a new running program!

Two miles easy on the treadmill.  I got the gym late, so Kim was not around to entertain me, but Karen was nice enough to take Kim's place!

They are calling for 6-10 inches of snow tonight, and according to the doppler radar its snowing now, but it must be invisible snow because I'm looking out the window and I'm not seeing anything.

Tomorrow is a scheduled rest day, so if it does snow, I have an excuse to skip going to the gym.  Of course we're going skiing on Saturday, so I might miss running that day as well.  I think skiing is a good enough workout on its own.
